Ed tells me that this is one of his favorite images.  He is preparing for launch and fittingly appears that his suit tech is giving him a blessing.  It is inscribed accordingly, "Bless you my son".  Mission information is also included.

This image is a perfect example of science and technology, imitating art as the Skylab Saturn IB  rolls toward the launch pad on top of the "Crawler".  I would submit that this is as stunning a photo of an Apollo Rocket making its way to the pad that I've ever seen.  Best of all, Astronaut Gibson has signed in bold black sharpie in awesome contrast to the image.  Plenty of room remains for adding the rest of the flight crew or it can be left exactly as it is.  An amazing signed photograph.....
